Northern Pinal County Superstition Foothills Environmental Stewardship
Footprints Matter Partners
Pinal Partnership, Northern Open Space Committee:
As the increase in awareness and scope of the event increased, the original organizational club, Soroptimist International of Gold Canyon reached out to the numerous non-profit organizations, businesses and communities in Northern Pinal County, including Gold Canyon and Superior. In April, if 2016 Footprints Matter partnered with Natural Restorations to organize a cleanup area outside of Florence. This partnership again held a successful cleanup on October 1st, 2016 'Surrounding Superior'. We are partnered on January 19th, 2019 for the 10th Annual Stewardship Event - 'From Gold Canyon to Superior'. To learn more about our most recent partner check out their website.
A very special thanks to Resolution Copper Mining. Due to a grant, there are now two signs encouraging users to Keep it Open - Keep it Clean.
We were grateful for their generous donation of the 'trigger trash only' dumpster at the entrance of Hewitt Station area on Tonto National Forest to encourage elf responsibility of users to the area. Due to misuse of household dumping that dumpster has been removed
